TOURNAMENT RULES

3rd MUNDIALITO IMPERIAL

 

Competition Rules

The competition will be played simultaneously on 3 pitches by 9 national teams, divided into 3 groups of 3 teams each:

  • Group A

  • Group B

  • Group C

 

1. Group Stage

During the group stage, the teams within each group will play against each other in a round-robin format, facing every opponent in their group once.

Each team will play 2 matches, and each group will therefore have a total of 3 matches, totaling 9 matches in this stage.

The match draw will take place on June 4th, 2026, at 9:00 PM.

Duration of Group Stage Matches

Each match will consist of:

  • 2 halves of 10 minutes

  • 5-minute halftime break

 

2. Qualification Criteria

At the end of the group stage, the following teams will qualify for the semi-finals:

  • The 1st place team from each group

  • The best 2nd place team among all three groups

Therefore, 4 national teams will advance to the final stage.

 

Group Stage Tiebreak Criteria

In case teams are tied on points, the following criteria will apply in the following order:

  1. Goal difference

  2. Highest number of goals scored

  3. Head-to-head result

  4. Lowest number of disciplinary cards

  5. Draw conducted by the organization

 

3. Semi-finals

The semi-finals will be played by the 4 qualified national teams.

The matchups will be defined as follows:

  • Best 1st place team in the group stage vs best 2nd place team

  • The other two 1st place teams will face each other in the other semi-final

 

Duration of Semi-final Matches

Each semi-final will consist of:

  • 2 halves of 10 minutes

  • 5-minute halftime break

 

4. Final

The winners of the semi-finals will play the Grand Final.

Duration of the Final

The final will consist of:

  • 2 halves of 15 minutes

  • 5-minute halftime break

To ensure the final can be completed smoothly, an additional operational time window will be reserved for possible delays, penalty shootouts, and the awards ceremony, allowing the competition to extend until approximately 12:30 PM.

 

5. Penalty Shootout Rules

In the semi-finals and final, if a match ends in a draw during regular time, there will be no extra time.

The winner will be decided immediately by penalty shootout.

 

Penalty Shootout Rules

  • Each team will take an initial series of 3 penalties

  • If the tie remains, the shootout will proceed to sudden death

  • Only players on the pitch at the end of regular time may participate in the penalty shootout, unless otherwise determined by the organization beforehand

 

6. Interval Between Matches

The organization will provide a 5-minute operational interval between matches for team rotation and pitch preparation.

Teams must be ready to enter the pitch in advance to ensure the schedule is respected.

Matches may take place simultaneously on different pitches according to the schedule defined by the organization.

 

Number of Players

The tournament format will be FUT 7.

Each national team must have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 registered players, all of whom must hold the nationality represented by their respective national team.

 

Group Stage Points System

  • Win — 3 points

  • Draw — 1 point

  • Loss — 0 points

 

Tiebreak Criteria

1st — Goal Difference
2nd — Goals Scored

 

Awards

After the tournament, we will host a barbecue for the awards ceremony, social gathering, and networking among all participants.

Date & Time

June 20th — First match starts at 9:00 AM.

All teams must arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.

  • Champion- trophy and gold medals

  • Runner-up - silver medals

  • 3rd place - bronze medals

Top scorer, best goalkeeper and championship star: possible additional awards to be offered by sponsors
